How to make a beautiful greetings card with Angelina
Angelina cardDescriptionA dark blue greetings card has Angelina fibres in white and blue. Five small fabric Christmas trees are mounted with foam pads. The card is edged in gold and a gold Merry Christmas and tiny star stickers complete the design. Materials used
MethodOutline the card with a Krylon gold pen. Angelina usually comes in a ball and looks a bit like candyfloss. We are using the Hot Fix type here. Pull some of the white Angelina out and lay it onto tissue paper. Use enough to represent the snow on the lower half of the card. Repeat with the blue Angelina that goes on the sky area. Place a sheet of tissue paper over this and iron gently with the iron on the silk setting. Fix the flattered Angelina to the card with Sticky dots adhesive. Mount the green fabric on the thin white card using double-sided self-adhesive sheet. Draw five Christmas trees on the card approximately 30 mm high (1½ in). Cut out the trees. Add gold dots to the trees with pen to represent tree lights. Mount the trees on the card with double-sided self-adhesive mini foam pads using the illustration as a guide. Add the Merry Christmas sticker. Add six tiny gold star stickers to the sky area. Angelina fibre card made by Lynda Bishop and reproduced with kind permission.
