How to make a beautiful wedding invitation card with rubber stamps

Wedding Invitation card

Description

A pearlescent deckle edge greetings card is stamped with a heart border and the words Wedding Invitation in pink metallic ink. The stamped hearts are decorated with crystal glitter. Silver dots are drawn on the swirl of the heart border. Small silver heart stickers complete the design.

Materials used

Pearlescent pale pearl deckle edge greetings card 144mm x 144mm (5¾ in x 5¾ in)
Rubber stamp De Nami Stamps N21 Heart Border
Rubber stamp Fun Stamps F-L32 Wedding Invitation
Encore Ultimate Metallic ink pad pink
Glue pen
Crystal ultra fine glitter
Sticker Hearts silver
Rotring Star gel pen silver

Method

Stamp the De Nami Stamps Heart Border and the Fun Stamps words Wedding Invitation with a pink Encore Ultimate Metallic ink pad using the illustration as a guide.

Draw small silver dots at the beginning, middle and end of the swirl on the heart border with a silver Rotring Star gel pen.

Spread glue in the centre of both hearts with a glue pen and sprinkle with Crystal ultra fine glitter.

Add three silver heart stickers using the illustration as a guide.
