Rose with beads card

Description

A dark green card has a square of pearl card decorated with a gold rose sticker. Small red and green glass beads add colour to the rose. The pearl card has rounded corners. Gold corner stickers complete the design.

Materials used

• Dark green deckle edge single fold greetings card 100 mm x 100 mm (4 in x 4 in)
• Pearl card 82 mm x 82 mm
• Rounder corner punch
• Gold sticker Roses
• Gold sticker Borders link
• Beads in red and green
• Silver thread
• Sewing needle
• Pricking tool
• Felt pad
• Adhesive tape
• Double-sided tape

Method

Round off the corners of the pearl card with a corner punch.

Mount the rose sticker in the centre of the pearl card.

Put the pearl card on the felt pad. Use the pricking tool to make holes where you want to add the beads. Stitch the beads in place with silver thread. The ends of the thread are secured in place on the back of the card with adhesive tape.

Mount the pearl card on the greeting card with double-sided tape.

Add corner stickers.
