Method

Stamp detailStamp the Love Doves on two pieces of satin pearl card with the Brilliance 3 Colour ink pad. Emboss with Kaleidoscope powder.

Stamp the Love Doves on a piece of satin pearl card with the Brilliance white ink pad and emboss with clear embossing powder.

Cut out the whole design from one of the satin pearl cards stamped in 3-colour ink.

Cut out the inner part of the design on the second satin pearl card including the doves and hearts.

Cut out the doves and hearts as individual items from the third card that is white embossed.

Mount the first silver card on the pearlescent greeting card using double-sided self adhesive foam pads to give it 3D spacing.

Mount the second satin pearl card on this with foam pads.

Mould the doves and hearts to give them a slightly curved shape. You can do this in the palm of your hand using a fingertip.

Twist three strands of silver thread together. Cut it into two short lengths and use these to suspend the hearts from the beaks of the doves. Fix the thread with adhesive on the back of the doves and hearts.

Mount the doves in position on the design with foam pads. The hearts hang free.

Colour a silver sticker with purple and pink gel pens while it is still on it's backing sheet.

Mount the sticker in position on the greetings card.

Product availability

We regret that we are unable to advise the reader of a source of supply for the materials used in the projects on the Card Making Inspirations web site.

The layouts and techniques used in these projects are timeless. However, products such as stamps, stickers and patterned papers are quickly discontinued to be replaced by new items. When this happens we suggest that there is a lot of satisfaction in finding an alternative product that suits the design.
