How to make a beautiful card with a Hobby Art Formula One Car stamp

Formula One Car card

Description

A Formula One racing car is stamped and embossed in silver on black card. The car is cut out and mounted on panel of silver corrugated card. This panel is mounted on a black greetings card. The card is outlined with a silver pen and a silver "Happy Birthday" sticker completes the design.

Materials used

Black greetings card 104mm x 152mm (4¼ in x 6 in)
Rubber stamp Hobby Art S603LD Formula One
Encore Ultimate Metallic Ink Pad Silver
Aegean Silver Embossing Powder
Black card
Silver corrugated card
Krylon Silver Leafing Pen
Peel-off sticker Happy Birthday
Sticky Fixers
Adhesive
Embossing Heat Tool
Scissors

Method

Cut a piece of silver corrugated card to 133mm x 55mm (5¼ x 2¼ ins.)

Mount the corrugated card on the greetings card with adhesive using the illustration as a guide.

Stamp the Hobby Art Formula One car on a piece of black card and emboss with Aegean silver Embossing powder.

Cut out the racing car slightly wider than the image.

Mount the racing car on the corrugated card with sticky fixers.

Draw a silver outline on the card with a Krylon Silver Leafing pen.

Add a "Happy Birthday" sticker.
