Snowflakes & Ribbon Card

Description

Five blue snowflakes are stamped on soft stone shadow backgrounds, one in each corner and one in the centre. Four glitter glue snowflakes decorate the squares between the shadow backgrounds. A blue ribbon completes the design.

Materials used

  • Textured natural white deckle edge greetings card 100mm x 100mm (4 x 4 ins)
  • Rubber stamp Hero Arts A212 Solitary Snowflake
  • Rubber stamp Hero Arts B1918 Background IV
  • Memories dye ink pad for shadow stamping soft stone
  • Crystal glitter glue
  • Tombow brush pen in blue
  • Blue ribbon

Method

Stamp five background squares in shadow soft stone using the illustration as a guide. There is one close to each corner and one in the centre.

Ink up the Hero Arts snowflake stamp with a blue Tombow brush pen and stamp it in the centre of one of the background squares. Repeat for the other squares. Add glitter glue to each snowflake.

Draw a glitter glue snowflake between each shadow square using the illustration as a guide.

Make two small holes in the spine of the card for the ribbon. Thread the blue ribbon through the holes.

Product availability

We regret that we are unable to advise the reader of a source of supply for the materials used in the projects on the Card Making Inspirations web site.

The layouts and techniques used in these projects are timeless. However, products such as stamps, stickers and patterned papers are quickly discontinued to be replaced by new items. When this happens we suggest that there is a lot of satisfaction in finding an alternative product that suits the design.
