How to make a beautiful card with a pansy stamp
Elegant Pansy cardDescriptionA textured ivory card has a pansy stamped and embossed in gold on a rectangle of cream card. The flower is coloured with brush pens giving a delicate water colour effect. This is mounted on a rectangle of dark red card and then on the greeting card. A gold border sticker and red ribbon complete the design. Materials used
MethodStamp and emboss the pansy in gold on the cream card. Colour the pansy with Tombow brush pens. You can use a small paint brush dipped in water to obtain the subtle washes. Use the pen where you want the dark colour and blend the colour out with a wet brush. Mount the stamped cream card on the rectangle of red card with adhesive. Mount the red card on the greeting card with adhesive. Add a border sticker about 5 mm from the edge of the red card. Pierce two holes in the spine of the card and thread the red ribbon through.
