How to make a beautiful flower card with rubber stamping techniques

Shadow stamp with tulips

Description

A square deckle edge card in textured natural white has a tulip design stamped in gold on a soft rose shadow background. It has a gold border and is finished with a Happy Anniversary sticker.

Materials used

Textured natural white deckle edge greetings card 144mm x 144mm (5¾ ins x 5¾ ins)
Rubber stamp PSX Brushed Tulip D3010
Rubber stamp Hero shadow Background III E1875
Gold Encore Ultimate Metallic inkpad
Memories Soft Rose inkpad
Sticker No. 60 Gold Happy Anniversary

Method

Stamp the two shadow background squares using a soft rose inkpad.

Stamp the three tulip designs using a gold inkpad.

The gold border is applied with the gold inkpad. A square of paper is used to mask the front of the card leaving about 5mm of card around the outside edges. Hold the paper firmly in position and pull the inkpad along the edges of the card.

Add a "Happy Anniversary" sticker.
