Shadow stamp with roses

Shadow stamp with roses

Description

A square deckle edge card in textured natural white has a rose bouquet stamped over a shadow stamp background. It is finished with a Best Wishes sticker.

Materials used

  • Textured natural white deckle edge greetings card 100mm x 100mm (4 ins x 4 ins)
  • Rubber stamp De Nami Rose Bouquet G100
  • Rubber stamp Hero shadow Background III E1875
  • Memories soft wheat inkpad
  • Tombow brush pens to colour the bouquet
  • Sticker No. 27 Gold Best Wishes

Method

Stamp the shadow background square using a soft wheat inkpad.

Colour the Rose Bouquet stamp with Tombow brush pens. You may find the ink dries before you are ready to stamp the design so a useful tip is to breath heavily on the stamp to moisten the ink.

Add the "Best Wishes" sticker.

Product availability

We regret that we are unable to advise the reader of a source of supply for the materials used in the projects on the Card Making Inspirations web site.

The layouts and techniques used in these projects are timeless. However, products such as stamps, stickers and patterned papers are quickly discontinued to be replaced by new items. When this happens we suggest that there is a lot of satisfaction in finding an alternative product that suits the design.
