Description

A cream deckle edge greetings card has a beautiful Ornare ornamental stencil design pricked out on the front. In the centre of the swirling design is an oval flower picture.

Materials used

Cream deckle edge single fold greetings card 104mm x 152mm (4¼ in x 6 in)
Ornare ornamental pricking stencil PR 0507 Krul
Pricking tool
Embossing tool
Sheet of Ornare decoupage paper with flower design
Paper adhesive

Method

Open the greetings card and place it face down on a soft pad.

Illustration: Metal pricking stencil.

Place the metal Ornare ornamental pricking stencil in the required position on the back of the card and prick the pattern with a pricking tool.

Run an embossing tool around the outline of the stencil to create a relief edge.

Illustration: Decoupage paper.

Turn the card over so the front is uppermost and decorate the centre with an Ornare decoupage paper flower design.
